How can I monitor industrial machines’ electricity consumption?
Tracer 5.0 collects readings from MID-certified devices connected to machines and displays them in the portal. You can compare consumption by machine and period, view charts and export filtered results.
What data is needed to size MID meters?
For each machine, provide the model, quantity, rated power, voltage, rated and maximum current and supply type, where available. Datasheets and details of the panel and existing meters help define the configuration. Missing data can be marked as to be checked.
How does the portal calculate consumption in kWh?
Consumption comes from increments between cumulative meter readings in the selected period. The first reading is the baseline; meter decreases are excluded and flagged. At least two valid readings are needed to calculate a consumption interval.
Can I analyse my machines’ consumption history?
The client area initially shows the last seven days. You can choose another period, filter by machine and view available readings. The homepage chart uses sample data; company data is in the client area.
How can I request a quotation for energy monitoring?
Complete the request with your business requirements and machine details. The form prepares a summary to send to MicroBusiness Applications for assessment of MID meter sizing and a tailored proposal.

Describe your energy monitoring project. We need details of the machines to size the MID-certified meters and prepare a tailored quotation.
What information do we need?
For each machine, provide where available: manufacturer and model, rated power (kW), voltage (V), rated and maximum current (A), and single-phase or three-phase supply.
Also describe existing meters or current transformers, available panel space and shop-floor connectivity.
You can attach available datasheets, nameplate photos and electrical diagrams to your email. If a detail is unknown, write “to be checked”.
The information will be reviewed to define the MID meter configuration and your tailored quotation.
